Trigger Mechanism for Confrontation

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzzi
Yesterday, the regime-run newspaper, managed by Revolutionary Guard Hossein Shariatmadaari, printed his daily Op-Ed entitled "Trigger Mechanism," expressing distress over the referral of the regime's dossier to the United Nations Security Council. Shariatmadaari who also made terrorist threats, wrote: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, without a shadow of a doubt, will never be submit to the Security Council's resolution and will definitely evade it. Then the west will have to scrounge up new legal excuses to pressure the regime; THAT is the thing that they desperately necessitate. Withdrawing from the Non-Proliferation Treaty and simultaneously reinstating the building and assembly of fragments, as well as the injection of gas in centrifuges in the Natanz Plant will be the first steps that the regimes will take toward that confrontation. The subsequent steps - in the face of the stupidity of the Arabs - our very useful and extraordinary instruments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Central Asia, Persian Gulf, Lebanon and Palestine, as well as the oil market will not in any way, shape or form be avoidable."
