Several wedding halls shut down in Kermanshah (Province of Kurdistan)

Following the increase of the regime's oppression in Kurdistan, 23 wedding halls and gardens where closed down and pad-locked, charged with disobeying religious law.

FARS, yet another of the regime's multitude of news outlets, quoting one of the regime's deputies of information, said: "In two cases where the disciplinary forces inspected these 23 halls and gardens [in Kermanshah], they noticed a lack of respect for Islamic decency such as inappropriate [glittery] women's clothing, men and women dancing and celebrating together*, disagreeable and indecent gestures and movements by the guests and the serving of alcoholic beverages. The owners of these halls and gardens have been reported to the judiciary for punishment."

*Men and women are not allowed to mix in any public situation, especially in celebrations.
