Pakistan opposes use of force against Iran: Kasuri

Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri Monday made it clear that Pakistan was opposed to use force against Iran over its controversial nuclear program saying force against Iran would destabilize the entire region. READ MORE

Pakistan supported EU-3 efforts to resolve the issue amicably, he stated this while talking with the Deputy Secretary General of the French foreign office Stainislas Lefebvre De Laboulaye, who is visiting Pakistan to hold round of strategic dialogue with Pakista, called on foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri in Islamabad.

He briefed the foreign minister about detail consultations, he held with the various Pakistani official during which the whole gamut of the bilateral relationship were discussed.

Foreign minister Kasuri expressed satisfaction at the pace of cooperation in various fields, underlined the need to give greater imputes to relationship with the France in the defense filed.

Kasuri also briefed the French official in detail on the going composite dialogue with India. He reiterated Pakistan commitment to the peace process with India. He said that Kashmir solution would bring durable peace to the entire region.

The French official appreciated Pakistan`s role in the promotion of the regional peace and security.
