Islamic regime instantly rejects E.U. appeal

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi.
On Thursday, Feb. 10th the E.U. in a formal statement called for the Islamic regime to sever all ties to various Palestinian and Lebanese terror groups; the Islamic regime however, immediately rejected the appeal, calling it "an encroachment on the regimes exclusive affairs". The Austrian government published the statement that was cosigned by 25 of the E.U. member nations.

IRNA, one of the regime-run news agencies reported that Hamid-Reza Assefi, the regimes foreign ministry spokesman mocked the statement and the criticism of Ahmadinejads meetings with various Palestinian groups, calling it shocking and intolerable. Assefi also asserted that the Islamic regime expects the government of Austria to re-evaluate its views and relations with Israel.
