Various sources have reported that political prisoner journalist, Mostafa Jowkar who was transferred to a hospital due to complications from heart disease, was returned to Evin prison on Saturday, Feb. 18th. Jowkar who during his furlough from prison underwent open-heart surgery is not being held in decent conditions, however, the warden and prison authorities, without any consideration for his medical condition have forced him to return to prison. Doctors have said that returning Jowkar to prison under these circumstances is illogical and inappropriate.
