Iran N-diplomacy reaches decisive phase: FM

German and British diplomatic efforts to settle he ongoing row over Iran's nuclear program have reached a "decisive phase", Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in Berlin, IRNA reported. gy
"The joint efforts of our countries regarding a solution to the conflict over Iran's nuclear program are now in a decisive phase," Steinmeier was quoted as saying in his congratulatory message to new British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett.

"You have assumed your office in a time of great challenges for international and European politics," he added.

Beckett became Britain's first-ever female foreign secretary on Friday following a cabinet reshuffle by British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
