Ahmadinejad's continued terrorist threats

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzzi
Revolutionary Guard-cum-planted President of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended a commemoration ceremony marking the beginning of the Iran-Iraq war in Tehran today; he scrutinized the parade of Shahab 3 missiles with emblazoned anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans, followed by the goose-stepping arms forces passing Ruhollah Khomeini's grave. Addressing the crowd of military and Basij, he once again spoke of "confronting enemies" and "kindling annihilative fires of acrimony." He said: "If anyone abuses the philanthropy and kindness of our people, retesting already tested waters, they will learn that the wrath of Iranians can be ruinous and explosive.”

European diplomats stationed in Tehran who had been invited to the ceremonies finding the missiles, the slogans and Ahmadinejad's menacing stance offensive and abruptly departed the event. An unnamed European diplomat outraged by the regime's performance told a French News Agency that the European Union Diplomats had made a group agreement that they would leave the event, in case of anti-American slogans in the military parade. One European diplomat said: "We will not put up with hostile slogans against our allies."
