IRGC Commander: "The Islamic Republic is a World Power"

The militant Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Rahim Safavi, in an animated performance in the Friday prayer of Tehran said: "The enemy better comprehend that the regime is not solely a regional power but a world power." READ MORE

Safavi, fretfully commented on the regime's nuclear dossier's referral to the U.N. Security Council and the possible consequences: "This Islamic Republic is a powerful regime that will not stand for pressure. The regime has rock solid defense capabilities and is completely invincible, plus we have all the equal capabilities and might to attack the interests of our enemies in far-ranging areas and long distances."

He continued: "Any political or economic pressure from any power players toward the Islamic Republic will be met with a peremptory and uncompromising reaction. We consider colonizers [of all sorts] to be like weed; we cut them down and then dump them. Europe better not side with the United States. However, now England's 'score' is also isolated [from the rest of Europe]."
