Hadad Adel's unwise commentary in Beirut and Damascus

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
According to the regime-run site AFTAB, Hadad Adel, Director of the Parliament of the regime who is on a state visit to Damscus and Beirut made some exceptionally sinister comments that has had widespread and international repercussions. He said: "If Israel does something as insane as to attack our nuclear plants like they did in Iraq in 1981, we will teach them an unforgettable lesson."

One of the regime’s own analysts in International Affairs who was interviewed by AFTAB stated: "Language such as ‘insane’ and ‘unforgettable lesson’ within the conditions of the September 24th resolution of the board of governors of the IAEA, will by no means help in subduing the crisis. These types of comments, especially in international circles, which will have immediate worldwide repercussions, are unwise. Hadad Adel should have spoken more diplomatically."
