The quickened escape of capital from Iran and the purchase of houses abroad

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
According to Ahmadinejad's own site FARDA (named as such in order to confuse people with Radio Farda which is the Persian Broadcast of Radio Free Europe) the escape of capital from Iran has quickened. This trend has once again bolstered business for some Iranian currency exchangers in Dubai. Dubai is one of the most important centers for the concentration of Iranian capital. The total invested assets of Iranians in the U.A.E. have been estimated at just above $200 billion and are estimated to exceed $326 billion by 2006-2007.

An economics expert announced that the price of land and houses in Iranian neighborhoods of cities around the world has also increased.
