Rafsanjani: "I will not get into the nuclear discussions"

A reporter asked Rafsanjani if the regime's nuclear issues should be delegated to the Expediency Discernment Council*, he replied: "There's no such discussion and people who know nothing just like to talk.

Rafsanjani who was in attendance at a meet and greet ceremony for the Koran chanters also told the reporter: "These discussions need to continue on where they've been being done from the very beginning. I am not the one to talk to about this issue."

*The Expediency Discernment Council of the System is an establishment in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve differences or conflicts between the Parliament and the Council of Guardians, and also to serve as a consultative council to the Supreme Leader (Khamnei). As of 2004, Rafsanjani heads the council.
