Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
According to Fars, the regime-run news agency, the World Bank’s most recent outline indicates that 300,000 educated and skilled Iranians emigrate from Iran every year.

Fifty eight percent of the emigrants (equivalent to 170,000 people) have higher educations and degrees travel abroad to either complete their education or leave Iran in search of jobs suitable to their skills and better living conditions in general.

The U.S. and Europe are the main destinations of a majority of these emigrants; 45% of these move to the U.S. while the remaining 55% settle in different parts of the world.

The report does indicate however that, after emigration only 34% of those with Bachelors degrees and higher are able to ultimately find jobs suitable to their education.
