The Mohammadi family has demanded that the Islamic regime identify all those who had a hand in the murder of their son. They have now lodged a complaint against the bureau of prisons, to the public prosecutor's office in Tehran. In their letter of complaint they have named the authorities of Evin prison, officials of Evin’s infirmary and the wardens of the specific ward where Akbar Mohammadi was imprisoned.

Nematt Ahmadi, the Mohammadi family lawyer appeared at the criminal prosecutor’s office in Tehran on Saturday morning, August 12th and lodged the family’s complaint that was based on article 27 of the prisons regulations.

It is worth mentioning that the Mohammadi family stressed that their son’s “death” was entirely intentional and all agents involved must be summarily identified and handed over for prompt prosecution and proper sentencing.
