One family’s grab of the biggest oil and gas contracts in Iran

Iran Press News: translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi.
The regime-run site Aref news reports: The biggest contracts in the history of the oil and gas industry have become a tug of war between certain families in the 9th administration of the Islamic revolution. The contract to export gas to China estimated at $100 billion has been transferred to Ali Khayr-Andeesh, the brother-in-law of Supreme advisor to Ahamdinejad, Hashemi-Samareh, via Ali Saeedlou, the regime’s Operations Executive.”

The contract entitled "NIOC LNG” is considered to be equal to two years of Iran’s oil income.

Ali Khayr-Andeesh, who has no previous experience in the oil industry, had been in the contracting business of constructing residential buildings.

It is worth mentioning that Hashemi-Samareh and his 2 brothers each of who are Deputy to the office of industries and Deputy to minister of energy are the nephews to the vice president of the Islamic regime’s parliament, Mohammad Reza Bahonar.
