This two-day outdoor family event celebrating nature and the seasons, is a showcase of many aspects of Persian culture from exhibits, art, pop and traditional music, folk dance, crafts, live performances, movies, children's activities and exotic food.
Held at the Orange County Fair & Exposition in Costa Mesa, this event grows more popular each year with thousands of visitors. Hundreds of people in the county's large Persian community volunteer their time and talents to bring Orange County the sights, sounds and tastes of ancient Persia and modern Iran.

Mehregan festival is organized by the Persian Community Volunteers of Southern California as a non-profit event.

Each year Network of Iranian-American Professionals of Orange County (NIPOC) with support of Iranian Cultural and Student Organizations prepares a huge event for Mehregan. At this event, which attracts tens of thousands of people to Orange County, CA, Hundreds of volunteers donate their time and talents to the success of Mehregan. All proceeds from this event are kept in a special account for future Mehregan celebrations and other cultural events and student scholarships.
