Discontinuation of insurance on multi-national corporations' investments in Iran

ILNA, in an article entitled "The Economic Consequences of the latest decision of the Board of Governors" reports that multi-national corporations investing in Iran will no longer be insured.

A member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines of the Islamic Republic has said: "Talk of possible sanctions [by the U.N. Security Council] on Iran, is suspending insurance on multi-national corporations' investments in Iran as the risk of investment is increasing."
