IRGC: agreeing to resolution is more dreadful than referral to Security Council

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
Based on reports from various of the regime's media sources, Revolutionary Guard Jazayeri, the spokesman for the IRGC said: "The danger of having to submit to the west ir more dreadful than the referral of our nuclear dossier to the U.N. Security Council. Submission to Western freeloaders can bring with it worse horrors than the repercussions of the Security Council."

Jazayeri claimed: "The referral of the regime's dossier to the Security Council, at the same time that it can be damaging, it can also have many benefits and blessings, if it is properly managed, like the Iran/Iraq war; however backing down in the face of the enemies of our ‘rule’ will be very damaging. We must make every attempt to block off any hint of weakness, showing the U.S. and every single of one it's allies that we will respond to every strike with as strong and equal a counter-strike. We must create a new atmosphere in the world where the U.S., France, Germany and Britain can be shown for the terrorist nations that they are; this is entirely achievable."

Banfasheh's Note: The Islamic Republic has painted itself into a corner in that it cannot back away from any of the threats it has made to the west. The reason for this is that during the last 27 years, the regime has worked at reeling in and winding up disciples with seditious tendencies. They have indoctrinated these suicide bombers, basijis, insurgents, etc. into living only for their ideology. If the regime were to back away from all the grandstanding and talk of a showdown now, and give into accepting the E.U. resolution, the regime will loose face in front of it’s operatives; feeling betrayed, these elements will turn on the regime itself. The Islamic Regime has checkmated itself by creating a monster it can no longer control one way or the other.
