Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
The regime-run site ENTEKHAAB reports that on Monday, December 5th, women from rural area of KERESHT, an outpost in the Boumehen (an area approximately one hour drive east of Tehran) blocked the road that lead to Tehran and prohibited all vehicles from passing through. The women who had also brought their children and babies along protested their extremely harsh living conditions due to the lack of services and the simplest amenities in their villages.
