Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
A reporter from the news site IRAN’EH MA wrote:I was just told about something that is makes the tragedy of the accident much more distressing.” The reporter continued: “Alireza Baraadaraan, one of the photojournalists who died in the crash contacted a colleague, at 11:30 A.M. (just before the flight) and said that the pilot was not willing to fly as the plane had engine trouble. For this reason the authorities were waiting for the pilot from the next shift to arrive so that they could fly out; they said that the next pilot is gutsier. Baraadaraan even said that the passengers were writing their last wills and testaments.”
