Girls and boys classes in huts and tents!

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
According to a report from regime-run news agency ILNA, 53,000 students have no school buildings to attend; instead they study in huts and tents. The Executive Director of Education and Training while confessing to the miserable and haphazard condition of the country's educational institutions added that other than huts and tents, they have resorted to holding classes in shipping containers and the back of large freight trucks and in many cases there is only one teacher who instructs the various educational curricula simultaneously to students of different age groups. He also announced that 91% of the classes that are held in huts are boys and girls mixed but that most important factors is the enforcing of Islamic law by separating the boys from the girls, putting them in different tents. He did mention that at this time, there seems to be no budget for such a project however.
