Watch Group Sounds Alarm on Regime's Propaganda in US

SMCCDI (Information Service):
"Foundation for Democracy in Iran" (FDI), a prominent US based Iran Watch Group, is sounding the alarm on some desperate propaganda made by Islamic regime's apologists or proxies and part of the American Leftist groups. READ MORE

In a statement posted on FDI's website ( www.iran.org ) and mass emailed, the group is stating: "The pro-Rafsanjani forces are organizing in the United States, attempting to sway public opinion and the media into believing the legitimacy of the presidential election farce in Iran. It's not surprising that they are counting on the support of the Left in America".

"FDI believes this current 'election' in Iran is more aptly termed a 'selection,' since all eight candidates allowed to run (seven finally appeared on the ballot last Friday) were vetted and approved by the Islamic fundamentalist Council of Guardians. None of the selected candidates supports dismantling absolute clerical rule (Velayat-e faghih) or the establishment of a secular government."

Outraged, FDI continues by stating: "Iranian-American organizations may want to spread the word among their own base and contacts of this latest attempt to spread pro-regime propaganda in the United States."

The statement is making allusion to the noise made on the new masquerade known as "run off" between Rafsanjani, the real mastermind of the Islamic republic who has a dark record of murders and looting, and his so-called backwarded challenger named Ahmadinejad.

Several names, such as, Simin Royanian (ciwhr@yahoo.com), Kaveh Ehsani (kavehehsani@yahoo.com) and Norman Solomon (norman@accuracy.org) who's heading the so-called "Institute for Public Accuracy", have been advanced as some of those agenda oriented Iranians or Americans who are promoting Rafsanjani and are helping indirectly the Islamic Intelligence circles to buy more time for their illegitimate regime.

Indeed, many Iranians and experts, who are familiar with Mullahs' Machiavellian use of demagogy, know that the sudden apparition of Ahmadinejad is in reality a subtle game in order to boost Hashemi Rafsnajani's quote. The fear created by Ahmadinejad is in a way that can make a notorious murderer and looter, such as, Rafsanjani to look like a political 'angel' or 'reformist'. Regime's intelligence circles are hoping that such tactic will lead to the victory of Rafsanjani while offering to some naive dreamers "the challenges of democratic elections and run offs".

Already a popular Iranian joke is stating: "Do you know why the end of World is near? Because some Iranians are jumping in the jaws of "shark" - name given to Rafsanjani - in order to escape from the mouth of the "beast" (meaning Ahmadinejad). Worst some foreigners are encouraging this new mass suicide and are clapping hands..."
