Putting sanctions on the import of Petrol to Iran will paralyze the regime

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi
The regime-run site, AFTAB in an editorial expressed anxiety over the possible referral of the regime's dossier to the U.N. Security Council and ensuing consequences such as sanctions, economic limitations and severance of diplomatic relations that will be imposed on the regime. The analyst who has penned the editorial writes of economic sanctions against the regime which will mean that the sale of refined gas to Iran (Iran sells crude oil and imports refined gas from abroad), will be prohibited, leading to economic and psychological pressures on society. This will also immediately increase prices and encourage the further escape of investment capital from Iran.

AFTAB continues by confessing to: “the deep and irreparable rift between the people of Iran and the Islamic regime and adds that the referral of the regime's nuclear dossier to the Security Council will certainly have a terrible outcome. The people are in no shape to put up with anything like this and it will lead to bedlam for the regime.”
