New Gold mine discovered in the township of Sabzehvaar (Khorasaan Province)

IRNA, the regime-run news agency reports that the member of the Islamic Assembly from Sabzehvaar announced the discovery of a new gold mine in that area. READ MORE

On Wednesday, December 7th, Ahmad Bozorgian said: “This mine is in the northern elevation of the region of Davarzan of the township.” Bozorgian who himself is a member of the commission on industry and mining of the Islamic assembly continued: “Preliminary efforts in the area of study of the type of gold veins and possible portion of gold are under way. Yielding this material from riverbeds is different than yielding it from higher elevations. We have asked all the proper authorities to assist in expediting the procedure.”

The northern elevation of the region of Davarzan contains an abundance of other mines such as chalk, building rocks and Kromite.
