On January 5, 06- Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a crowd of theological students in the holy city of Qom that many of whom have come to Qom from different Muslim countries, that Islam did not restrict itself to geographical borders. We must believe in the fact that Islam is not confined to geographical borders, ethnic groups and nations. It’s a universal ideology that leads the world to justice, Ahmadinejad said. We don’t shy away from declaring that Islam is ready to rule the world”, he added. Ahmadinejad dwelled on his recurrent theme that the return of the Shiite Messiah, the Mahdi, is not far away and Muslims must prepare for it.We must prepare ourselves to rule the world and the only way to do that is to put forth views on the basis of the Expectation of the Return, Ahmadinejad said, referring to the Shiite Muslim belief that the Mahdi, on his return, will establish justice in a world consumed by chaos and corruption. If we work on the basis of the Expectation of the Return [of the Mahdi], all the affairs of our nation will be streamlined and the administration of the country will become easier, Ahmadinejad said.
Analyst Comment: It is interesting to know that, former Iran’s speaker of Parliament, Mehdi Kahrubi, on January 7, 06 in Emrouz news site, said some of the people who are closely working with Ahmadinejad have said that the Imam Mahdi will probably returning in next two years, therefore, we have to start building a hotels in Iran.

Someone should tell Haji Mahmoud (Ahmadinejad) that before start thinking of preparing himself and his friends to rule the world, they better fix the Iranian people’s problems.

Some of these problems are: According to Baztab news agency every year over 30,000 Iranian people are dying in Automobile accidents. According to the Iran’s head of police forces, brigadier general, Esmail Ahmadi Moqadam, every year over 9,000 people who ride motorcycles are losing their lives in streets of Iran. According to state run news agency, Jomhoury Eslami, around 10,000,000 Iranian people are addicted to drugs. This paper added that, after poverty, unemployment, drug addition is the third factors that threat the country.
