Clash in western City of Sannandaj

Clashes rocked, today, a suburb of the western City of Sannandaj as angry residents attacked Islamic regime's security patrol cars and the municipalities' trucks and public buildings.

Security forces which were sent to smash the riot had to back off several times in order to re-group.

The riot sparkled following the cut off of the electricity to the area as the lands are set to be appropriated by wealth business men affiliated to the Islamic regime. READ MORE

The situation in the town is tense and promises have been made to the residents on a future public hearing.

The try of the take over of the popular action, by individuals affiliated to some independentist groups, was a main reason that residents stopped their riot and preferred listening to the authorities.
