Female member of the Organization for Human Rights in Kurdistan savagely beaten and kidnapped

A female member of the Organization for Human Rights in Kurdistan was kidnapped by a special intelligence and security forces of the revolutionary guards. Based on received reports, Ms. Sarveh Komkar, was abducted, in front of witnesses, from a busy intersection in the town of Mahabad (Kurdistan) on Sunday, January 8th at 6 PM. The special forces unit that is under the direct command of revolutionary guard Rahman Soleimani. Finally after 5 hours of pressure from Komkars family and members of the Organization for Human Rights in Kurdistan, the revolutionary guard admitted to having her in custody and due to the lack of any wrong doing was forced to release her. She had been so brutally beaten that her face and body had sustained apparent injuries and bruises.
