Hundreds of factories in Iran are on the verge of bankruptcy

Based on reports from the regime-run news agency, ILNA, more than 170 operational factories of industrial and manufacturing units of Iran are facing bankruptcy and dissolution due to various irresolvable problems that stem from mismanagement and lack of proper planning.

A worker told ILNA that at present many factories that manufacture household equipment, audio/visuals, textile, plumbing supplies, glass, shoes, clothing, mining and much more, have been closed and hundreds-of-thousands of workers across Iran have lost their jobs and income. He added: "There doesn't seem to be a real plan regarding the policy of relinquishment or privatization of the nations factories; the country's industry has been annexed by the most corrupt of people who are only after personal gain and nothing else. It's clear that in such conditions the number of the destitute increases by the day..."
