Rampant arrests of all activists in the Kurdish areas

The Organization for the Defense of Human Rights in Iranian Kurdistan reports that during the last several weeks approximately 8 residents of the town of Sardasht and surrounding villages have been arrested by the Islamic regime's disciplinary forces. The 8 detainees have been charged with phoning into Iranian opposition radio and satellite TV talk shows outside Iran.

Karim Rasoolzadeh is among those arrested and he has been sentenced to 8 months in prison. Some of the detainees were able to post bail and have managed to flee the country with their families.
