Iran's Ahmadinejad Says Israel 'Cannot Survive'

Iran's hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Israel "cannot survive", adding that migrants to the Jewish state should go back to where they came from. "Why did you force them to take refuge in Palestine? Why do you think they are comfortable in Palestine? They left because of your anti-semitism," he said of European states.

"Open the doors of this big jail and let people decide for themselves. You will see they will return to their motherland," he said, repeating his view that Jews who have settled in the former Palestine should go back to their countries of origin.

"Why should the Middle East pay 60 years on" from the end of World War II, he added.
