Young man imprisoned for his connection to political parties and teenager shot in Kurdistan

On Saturday, August 11th, a 30-year-old local resident of the town of Dehgolan, B. Tahmasbi, was arrested and imprisoned in connection with charges of collusion with Kurdish political parties.

Tahmasbi’s brother who is a member of a Kurdish political activist group is said to have been the main reason for the 30-year-old’s arrest.

14-year-old teenager shot and severely wounded in Piranshahr

Soran Ahmadi, a 14-year-old teenage resident of the town of Piranshahr was shot and severely wounded by the Islamic regime’s disciplinary forces. The boy, who is a first year high school student, works as a pack-hauler on the border area of Iran and was hauling packages on his back in that region at the time of his shooting. The young man is in a hospital in the town of Oshnaviyeh and under medical treatment. It is due to abject poverty that Ahmadi was forced to take up this line of work.
