Iran Will Consider Any US Proposal For Nuclear Talks

Though Iran and the United States do not have diplomatic relations, Iran would consider any proposal from Washington to hold talks on Iranian nuclear program, deputy head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) Mahmoud Vaezi said.

He told reporters that the dispute about Iranian nuclear program has nothing to do with normalization of relations and Iran would consider if the United States offered to hold talks on the dispute.

"Iran has made it clear that normalization of relations with the United States depends on a tangible shift in the US attitude toward Iran, but, on the specific topic of the nuclear program, Iran is ready to enter into negotiations with the US to prove the civilian nature of the nuclear program," Vaezi said. ...
