Infamous Mullah Khomeini Death Commemorated in Iran

A ceremony to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the death of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Mullahs, the infamous mullah Khomeini, started in his mausoleum, southern Tehran, Saturday morning. Iran's top ranking mullah officials are participating in the ceremony. READ MORE

They include mullah president Mohammad Khatami, mullah-run majlis speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel known as "Gholam Shire'i" in majlis, judiciary chief mullah Hashemi Shahroudi and mullah Hashemi Rafsanjani. Mullah Ali Khamenei will deliver a speech at the ceremony. Also present at the mausoleum are cabinet ministers, members of the Guardian Council and the Experts Assembly, Majlis deputies and top brass military officials.
