Shiraz students protest against Islamists

SMCCDI (Information Service):
Tens of students of Shiraz University protested, today, against the persistent repression in Iran and the brutality of Islamists against students and teachers.

Slogans, such as, "Marg bar Estebdad" (down with Dictatorship), "Bassiji haya kon, daneshgah ro raha kon" (Militiamen, have a shame and leave universities alone), "Azadi, Azadi" (Freedom, Freedom), "Amniat, Amniat" (Security, Security) and (daneshjoo mirazmad, zellat nemipazirad" (student fights and won't accept submission) were shouted by angry students.

It's to note that several students and their young teacher were brutalized , yesterday, by Islamists who used knives to injure them.

The students are requesting the demission of the security head of the university and public apologies from the administration.
