Ahmadinejad's Internet site: “A cold winter is ahead”

Farda, Ahmadinejad's own site reports that his opponents at the Ministry of Oil are conceiving a cold winter for the people. An unidentified member of the middle-management of the Oil Ministry said: "Some of the directors of our ministry who are aware of their possible terminations, are making trouble and not 'serving' the people in the coming cold winter months; they have procrastinated in distributing vouchers for white oil and liquid gas. The vouchers are always handed out in the summer so that distribution in the winter months is facilitated and people do not have to face any shortages; however this year no such steps have been taken. Faced with these authorities' stonewalling, the flow of distribution and rationing will be bungled and a cold winter awaits people all across Iran."
