IRI's foreign guarantees hits the $40 Billion mark

Fars, one of the regime's many news agencies reported that the central bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that the total foreign debt, including fixed and contingent debts and liabilities of the regime, in 2004 hit the $40 Billion mark. According to this report, the fixed debts of the country stood at $7,021,500,000 per year in 2001, which increased, to $16,019,200,000 in the last 3 months of 2004, which is more than double.
