Hezbollah in Iran establishes TV Channel

Based on reports from the regime-run news agency, ILNA, the preliminary steps for the broadcast of the KHAYBAR TV Channel will be taken within the next two months.

Mojtaba Beegdeli, spokesman for Hezbollah announcing this news added: "At present we are in negotiations with Satellite channels in order to broadcast our programs; so far there have been proposals that are being discussed by members of the central assembly who will announce their final decision shortly. We are targeting our programs toward audiences in the United States and Europe. Our blueprints however require hardware that we are working to obtain. Ayatollah Kharrazi, the Secretary of the central assembly has come up with 3 working groups for organizing the Satellite network. The three groups will work at: laying the groundwork for a united Islamic peoples, working toward the elimination of Israel and coalition-building between political, cultural and social forces from within [Hezbolllah]."
