Khamnei’s newspaper attacks and defames government of Italy

Immediately following the Italian foreign ministry’s statement regarding Ahmadinejad’s firebrand comments and last week’s 15000 person strong demonstration in front of the IRI embassy, in Rome, Khamnei’s newspaper in it’s Wednesday byline that was full of expletives and invective, among others, called Italians, Mafiosi and corrupt evildoers. “Today, when one hears the name of Italy which considers itself the inheritor of the filthy culture of the Roman Empire, words like Mafia, prostitution rings, opportunist states, corrupt and salable politicians come to mind as Italy has, for years, nay centuries been a land which provides shelter to gangsters, infidels and pimps.”
