A Kurdish journalist sewed his mouth up in the Marivaan Prison

Tabriz News – Human Rights Service: Maad’deh Ahmadi, imprisoned Kurdish journalist who is incarcerated in Marivaan Prison sewed his mouth up after announcing that he was going on hunger strike. Ahmadi who is from Sanandadj was arrested during the July/August uprisings in Kurdistan and sent to prison. He began his hunger strike in order to protest the voiding of his bail.
