Islamic Republic of Iran is next to last on industrial growth index of Mid East countries

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) reported that where the 11 Middle Eastern countries industrial growth index is concerned, the Islamic Republic of Iran is 9th.

The regime-run news agency, FARS, reported that in its 2005 report UNIDO confirmed that the Islamic regime has grown by no more than 0.116. The index measure is calculated between 0 to 1 and the higher the number the higher the direction of growth. This specific index is based on the portion of industry in the production of crude oil and the import of refined oil. READ MORE

Among all other countries, Japan, coming in with an index point of 0.59 is considered to be number one in the world. In second place is Germany at 0.589 and Romania is in the third place with a 0.58 growth index.

The Middle Eastern countries stand as follows:
1. Bahrain at 0.483
2. Jordan at 0.46
3. Lebanon at 0.439
4. Kuwait at 0.373
5. Qatar at 0.289
6. Syria at 0.225
7. U.A.E. at 0.146
8. Saudi Arabia at 0.144
9. Iran & Oman both came in at 0.116
10. Yemen at 0.056
