Asefi: West lacks Cultural Background

IRNA Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi on Wednesday lashed out escalation of the west's "poisonous" anti-Iran propaganda and dismissed claims of certain western officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran. "The statements of certain western officials show that contrary to their absurd claims, westerners are disqualified, and impetuous, lacking any cultural background," said Asefi on Wednesday. Asefi said, "The statements heard these days openly negate what the West has been falsely defending under the guise of democracy and campaign against terrorism.”
Westerners, that themselves found governments through coups, how respond to the world public opinion why they become so embarrassed in the face of Muslims' independence seeking resolve; and how can they (westerners) bring for themselves more disgrace than before? Asefi stressed Iran's independence seeking resolve, saying, "The US and certain European states will gain nothing from threats and propaganda; and hue and cry will not affect the will and determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran in its effort to restore its legitimate rights.” The Islamic Republic of Iran will not give up its legal right to have peaceful nuclear technology and will restore its rights seriously through public backing." Analyst Comment: Baztab On November 20, 05-Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, chairman of the powerful Guardians Council, in a speech to Revolutionary Guards also insulted people in the west and said "Human beings, apart from Muslims, are animals who roam the earth and engage in corruption."

ISNA Asefi is conforming Ahmadinejad’s statement, who on February 6, 06, said that "With trust in God and belief in the nation, we do not fear from any Power. Now is the time which bulling ends and the destruction of imperialism is heard." Ahmadinejad added that "Today the time for imitating Pharaoh has ended, and those who think that they are the rulers of the world, must know that soon their hegemony will fall apart and be destroyed."

These statements by Asefi and Ahmadinejad clearly indicate that the Iran’s foreign policies and nuclear activities have been written by groups of political experts such as Khamenei, Rafsanjani, Janati, Ahmadinejad mentor, Mosabah Yazdi, Iran’s former Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati, and many others who have been educated in the United States and European countries.
