Bus drivers union board of directors released from prison and then rearrested

Based on received reports from Tehran, on Saturday, March 18th, Ibrahim Madadi, Yaghoub Salimi and two other members of the board of directors of the greater Tehran bus drivers union were released on bail. Reportedly 3 other members of the board, Mansour Hayat-Ghaybi, Ibrahim Norouzi-Gowhari and Gholam-Reza Mirzai will also be released on bail on Wednesday; they have been permitted to spend the Persian New Year with their families and loved ones. The regime however has been adamant about the detention of the director of the board, Mansour Osanlou and has categorically refused to free him.

Mansour Hayat-Ghaybi however, who was also one of the detainees who was freed was however rearrested 24 hours later, on the morning of Norouz while he was preparing for the new year with his family.
