A young Iranian woman's victory in automobile racing and the regimes admonition

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi.
The victory and popularity of a young Iranian woman in automobile racing has the misogynist regime of Islamic Republic worried. The automobile racing federation of the Islamic Republic has issued a statement canceling the mixed male/female automobile races in order to quash Leila Sadigh's chances of another win. This federation, in a shameless move invalidated the scores for the speed competition in which Leila Sadigh was the frontrunner and following that disqualified her from the full race. In response to Leila Sadigh's complaint, the Islamic regime's sports federation completely banned all sports that included mixed competition.
