Arab League - Of Denial

Amir Taheri took a look at the paralysis at the Arab league's meeting last week, concluding that they often act as a break on reform. One idea making the rounds is the formation of a new Arab organization comprised of countries that have chosen the democratic path. On a humorous note, Qaddafi told the participants:

"And I shouldn't be here among all of you. But now that I am here, I have to call on you to wake up to the emerging realities of a new world."
