Syrian leader's surprise visit to Tehran

According to reports from FARS, one of the IRI's official news agencies, the Syrian leader, Bashar al Asad will visit Iran on Saturday and is scheduled to meet with the leaders of the Mullacracy.

This news agency called this visit "vital" and stated that:

"The president of Syria, in his two day trip to Tehran will be meeting with Khamnei, Rafsanjani, Khatami, Haddad Adel ( speaker of the Parliament who was recently turned away from the Parliamentary lunch in Brussels for telling the Belgian Parliamentarians that they cannot eat pork or drink beer while lunching with him! ) as well as the new president-elect, Revolutionary Guard, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad."
