Citizens clash with disciplinary forces in Sardasht, Province of Azerbaijan

Based on received reports, on Wednesday, Aug. 31st the regime's disciplinary forces attempted to arrest the passengers in an automobile that was carrying alcoholic drinks; residents and locals who witnessed this, joined the passengers of the automobile in confronting the agents. The agents brutally attacked the citizens, severely beating them. The crowd of people, especially the youth became enraged, having reached their limit with the regime’s perpetual abuse, picked up rocks and sticks in retaliation, attacking their assailants and destroying two of their military vehicles.

The report states that in the face of people's resistance and the accelerating fear of protests, the disciplinary forces left the area where the conflict occurred.
