Iran Air takes Ahmadinejad directly to New York

Mehr News:
President Mahmud Ahmadinejad who is going to attend the summit of the United Nations General Assembly in New York will travel to there directly from Tehran.

An informed source told Mehr News Agency that HOMA Airlines, one of the Islamic Republic of Iran air fleet, will take the president to New York.

The 60th meeting of the UN general assembly is set to begin on 14 September.

The source added that visa will soon be issued for the Majlis speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel and his parliamentary entourage and they would certainly attend the Second World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in New York.

My guess is that regime is afraid, he will be questioned by Europeans over his role in terror of dissidents in any European airport and during connecting flights. So the best idea is to take him to the states directly via the Iranian airliner. READ MORE
Too bad the State Department backed off and is now letting Ahmadinejad's entourage join him.
