Islamic regime increases repression and arrests

Several hundreds of individuals qualified as "trouble makers" have been arrested in the last days and more is to follow according to the regime's Pasdaran Corp. (Revolutionary Guards) Brigadier General Reza Zarei. The later who was interviewed by the official ISNA has announced the official number of 1,000 for Tehran arrests alone. READ MORE

Zarei has announced that more than thousand of other elements have been identified and praised the new wave of crackdown as operation Zafar (Victory). The same kind of repressive operation has been also carried in several provincial cities.

The purpose of these operation and the increase of repression is what has been qualified as " improving the national security". In reality the theocratic regime seeks to pacify its back base while facing the world.

The Islamic republic regime is a notorious human rights abuser and unpopular regime rejected by millions of Iranians.
