Larijani: “We do not accept the Board of Governor's resolution”

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzzi
Larijani, the Secretary of the High Council of National Security of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended a meeting at the Islamic Parliaments' Assembly and in a press conference claimed: "The Islamic Republic in attaining nuclear technology has acted within the international treaty and will under no circumstance be pressured on this matter. The Islamic Republic will continue it's nuclear program in the face of insistence, pressure and the IAEA's topsy-turvy legalities."

Larijani's response about England's stance against the Islamic Regime was: "Jack Straw was insisting on more dialogue but the ratification of the resolution shows that the Foreign Minister of England was doing exactly the opposite of his overtures."

In reaction to India's consenting vote against the Islamic Republic and in favor of the E.U. resolution, Larijani said: "We are very annoyed with India and other countries [who we were counting on]; this will surely influence the nature of our relationships with them."

Larijani has described the European trio (England, France and Germany) to be "among the most savage nations on earth."
