New fabricated charges against activist and political prisoner, Bina Darab-Zand

Iran Press News: Translation by Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzzi
On Tuesday, Aug. 30th the head of the bailiff's office of Rejaiishahr prisons charged activist and political prisoner, Bina Darab-Zand with "insulting and disrespect to the person of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamnei." Darab-Zand refused to sign the official report and announced that these are new fabricated charges that are being leveled against him in order to limit [him in prison] and malign him.

It is important to clarify that the warden of the Rejaiishahr prison has concocted fake confessions from a number of other prisoners with long sentences [and in gaining favor with the warden] are cooperating with the jailors in pressuring and abusing Darab-Zand. The regime fearing Darab-Zands' further divulgences and revealment has mobilized all its "resources" against him.

Darab-Zand and fellow activist and prisoner, Behrooz Javid-Tehrani are both on hunger strike together.
