“The government of Canada must be held accountable for it’s own human rights violations”

In reaction to the human rights resolution spearheaded by Canada for presentation to the U.N. security Council, the regime’s permanent representative to the United Nations snapped back and said: Canadians are being calculating; if anything, Canadians need to be accountable for their own human rights violations in front of the international community.”

The government of Canada is still enraged by the brutal murder of the Canadian/Iranian, Zahra Kazemi. Along with the consent, support and partnership of 38 other U.N. member nations, Canada is leading a resolution calling for the condemnation of the Islamic regime for continued and barbarous violation of human rights in Iran. The resolution’s draft will be presented to the General Assembly. The supporting nations demand the immediate cessation of torture and brutality against political prisoners as well as discrimination against women and minorities religious or otherwise.


Observers evaluate that this year, more than ever, due to international exasperation and fury toward the Islamic regime as well as Ahmadinejad’s firebrand comments, the resolution would likely pass unanimously. READ MORE

Canadian Deputy Permanent Representative Ambassador Gilbert Laurin who presented the resolution for investigation on Tuesday and said: “The Islamic regime’s human rights report card has worsened and is now cause for real concern.”

The resolution’s draft covers discrimination against Arabic-speaking Iranians, Iranian Kurds - Sunni or Shiite, Iranian Baluchis, and religious minorities.

The reaction of the Islamic regime’s representative to the United Nations was a boilerplate rant from a regime agent.
